TMRC was founded for one purpose and based upon one simple principle.... to offer a truly unique product of premium quality and provide the best customer service in the market.

After searching the internet, hobby shops and online retailers for a couple of years, I could not find a single RC sailplane model of any American-made sailplanes. It was my feeling that this niche had to be filled, and that there must be others with similar interests in building scale sailplanes of US vintage from high-quality, well-documented plans and laser cut and composite kits.

To satisfy that need, I set out first to CAD the old Sterling 1-26D and offer short kits of this great little model and then to begin the arduous task of drawing original plans for many of the classic sailplanes from Schweizer and eventually other US designers and companies.

Now, two years later as I write this and reminisce, we have completed original plans and laser cut kits for more than ten different Schweizer models. These now include our first powered plane, the 1958 SA 1-30 Schweizer light utility aircraft which never entered production, but is an important part of the company's long and illustrious history.

With your continued support, I hope TMRC will be as successful in our niches as the company founded by the brothers Schweizer more than 70 years ago!

Jeff Walters shows of the perfect scale structure of his brand new Little FlyerTM Schweizer SGS 2-8 (in US Navy LNS-1 Training Glider colors) at Woodcrafters 2006 in Muncie Indiana. In time we are now shipping our 1/8 scale Schweizer SGS 2-33 at 1.9 meters and more to this new line of small scale precision laser cut kits. Our goal is to put the fun back in building with unique and premium kits that are engineered for quick jigging and simple and easy parts fit and construction methods.
